Upcoming event: March 19th 2025 - Reception with Sir Iain Duncan Smith

The evening will include a talk from Sir Iain, Q&A, and the opportunity to enjoy wine & canapes with fellow Gadson Club & OUCA members, at an exclusive central London location (to be revealed to ticket holders).

Sir Iain was Leader of the Conservative Party from 2001-2003. He has been Member of Parliament for Chingford and Woodford Green since 1992, and served as Work and Pensions Secretary under David Cameron (2010-2016). As a backbencher, he has been a prominent campaigner both on Brexit and on Britain's relationship with China.

Tickets to the event are just £25, including hot and cold canapés, red and white wine, and soft drinks. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite here or via PayPal / by bank transfer to the Club's account here.

Since its foundation in 2015, the Gadson Club has hosted a variety of Conservative speakers including Jeremy Hunt, Michael Howard and Jacob Rees-Mogg.

The Gadson Garden Party

In Trinity Term the Gadson Club holds a garden party in Oxford. OUCA members are encouraged to attend, and entry is free for students in their final year.
